A handover inspection is a thorough examination of a newly constructed building and outlines any minor defects, sub trade standard or incomplete work prior to handover from the builder to the owner.

An independant completion stage inspection is important for both builders and property owners to ensure that the building work is completed to minimum requirements and any minor defects are addressed to avoid potential disputes at handover of the property.
